Every once in a while I wander through the Fla. Bonsai Society's
website, especially the publications pages.
Take a look at
http://www.bonsai-bsf.com/publications.htm. I
especially recommend the Florida Bonsai Magazine link. There are
a couple of versions: A downloadable color book and one for
screen reading -- PDF with hyperlinks to bounce you though the
text.
Also highly recommended is Tom Zane's Intermediate Bonsai Course
Syllabus, which is a good start for anyone short of bonsai how-to
reading material.
There's more, including a series of articles on buttonwoods
(Carl - do you have this one?). Take a look.
Then, go back a page to
http://www.bonsai-bsf.com/ for some
PowerPoint programs on bonsai, virtual styling of a bonsai using
a mouse, and more.
One of the best Society pages I've seen. And other than being a
member of BSF I didn't have a darned thing to do with any of
this. ;-)
