Look at the menus at the top. Under Window, open usenet filters, and
see if you have inadvertently blocked it there.

There is somewhere that you can set the maximum length of messages to
d/l, but I can't find it at the moment. However, if a message is too
long to download, you get the header, and an option to retrieve it.
So I don't think that's it.
