RHS Encyclopaedia of Plants & Flowers - expensive to buy so best got as
part of an introductory package with a book club. It has exactly what
you want.
and sometimes on sale in remainder bookshops.
On the back cover of May 2004 BBC Gardeners World there is a book club
offering 6 RHS books including RHS Encyclopaedia of Plants & Flowers
for about UKP30 including p&p as an introductory offer.
