Hi,
Having my 1st Serissa more than a year ago I was not
sure how it will cope over the winter period. Until
October everything was fine but from November until
March my Serissa had gradually dropped most of its
leaves and it looked rather dry.
I was 100% uncertain how often to water over the
winter period. More or less, I was watering once a
week. However, by the end April I thought the tree was
well dead because there was no sign of life
whatsoever. Nonetheless, I kept watering once a
week...
Well, to my surprise, at the beginning of May my
Serissa started to grow new leaves again and now it
looks healthier than ever.
Always learning, now I know what dormancy means.
best regards,
Dimitris
