Too much fertilizer. Waaaaaay too much fertilizer!

You're already using Miracle Gro potting soil and it has
fertilizer in it. If you keep putting more in the water you're
going to burn the plants up. Besides, herbs don't like that
much fertilizer, they like rather spartan conditions.

How hot do the plants get? Too much heat from the sunlight
warming the pots can burn off the essential oils that give herbs
their flavor. It's already so hot around here that I only harvest
herbs in the early morning.
