http://www.madsci.org - This site covers anything science and archives are
full of good stuff... I searched something aquatic and found all kinds of
good stuff...

I'm searching and have found some, but I'm looking for a complete list of
the chemicals used in aquatics, and their common names... Feel free to add
your that you know of, none are too much, I'm hoping to complete the list
and make available for NetMax to have... (hint-hint!!!)

Elements I've found....
K - Potassium
KNO3 - Potassium Nitrate
N - Nitrogen
NO3 - Nitrate
NO4 - Nitrite
I - Iodine
Fe - Iron
H2O2 - Hydrogen Peroxide
Ca - Calcium
Mg - Magnesium
NaNO3 - Sodium nitrate
NH3 - Ammonia
NH4NO3 - Ammonium Nitrite
Na - Sodium
S - Sulfer - Is it a sulfate??? or is a sulfate a dirritive of Sulfer?

Sulfate is a salt of sulfuric acid. The ion would be SO4
Sulfite is a salt of sulfurous acid. The ion would be SO3

S by itself is sulfur, or the ion in a sulfide. Example
iron sulfide FeS
iron sulfite FeSO3 (not listed, may not be stable)
iron sulfate FeSO4

Potassium permanganate

KMnO4

Mn is manganese

Nitrite is NO2, not NO4

Cl for chlorine
NaCl sodium chloride, aka salt.

H or H2 for Hydrogen.

H2O for water. I use this in my tanks.

Mg for magnesium
MgSO4 for magnesium sulfate, aka Epson Salts.

H2O2 for Hydrogen Peroxide.
