after a few quotes to lay a small patio (25 slabs) i decided

paying between £320 and £500 and decided id try myself so thought id hire
myself a turf cutter to get the exsisting grass out of the way,Does anyone

I hired one a few weeks ago to strip a "lawn" approx 30' by 15'. It cost £40
for the weekend - plus VAT - plus delivery - plus VAT.

I found it *much* easier and neater than lifting it with a spade, and well
worth the money.
