Default Orchids in Bathrooms?

I have never had good luck growing phals in the bathroom, even beneath a
skylight and having good air movement from the forced air system. After 6
months or more, they just seem to wither away. So, for indoors I prefer a
sliding glass door window that is a curtained window -- where I grew many prior
to owning a greenhouse (phals seem to particularly enjoy a southern curtained
exposure -- or for nonphals, a kitchen window with indirect light where I grow
deflasked seedlings.

I'd go with phals or maybe paphs, which can handle lower light levels, but
still you may need some sort of artificial lighting system for an added
boost in blooming.

I have a reasonably large selection of orchids in my apartment. Most are

by
the windows but I have been wanting to spread them around the apartment to
make the apartment look better. I especially want to put some in the
bathroom. My bathroom has no windows so all the light is from the light
bulbs. Is it a good idea to put orchids in my bathroom? How do I make my
bathroom ideal for orchids and which orchids should I put there?
