Do yourself a great favour and get a Bristle Nose Pleco or 2. These guys are
the Hoovers of the fish world so far as algae is concerned.
I have a dwarf Anubia, which over the months became covered in algae. I
purchased a couple of 2.5cm Bristle Nose plecos and over two days and
nights, these little dudes completey cleaned the leaves of algae.
