If I wanted to have a green lawn during the winter months, could I spread

such a thing as slow growing rye??, and is it worth it..
Thanks

It don't grow very slow, but it sure is purdy!!! :-)
I use it every winter to help preserve my lawn, and when it dies back it
acts as green fertilizer.
Good stuff, and inexpensive!
