Default My sweet sweet Rose

thank you honey. I am just devistated at the moment. She tried to get as
close to me in the bedroom as she could and only made it under the bedroom
window that I often write about and look out to. Rose always slept with me
in my waterbed. Always. Last night was the first time ever in her 8 1/2
years that she wasn't in my bedroom or in bed with me and Sugar the newer
pup and two or three cats crowding me.......yes, there are LOTS of memories
but her death has floored me. It was so sudden. Apparently there would have
been no saving her if I'd gotten her to the vet a mile away. This is a fatal
problem in deep chested animals.

madgardener beside herself with grief

I am very sorry to hear about your loss. I know how awful it is to lose a
companion animal. The sudden nature of the problem compounds the grief.
I'm sure she had a wonderful life with you and has left you with lots of
good memories. Try not to focus on the last hours of her life, but on the
years of happiness you had together. It will take some time to work

through
the grief. Take care of yourself.
