All the immediate neighbourhood gardens are infested every year

ants. Apart from Nippon ant-powder (which can be unsightly and not
particularly effective) can anyone recommend a really good
alternative for use on paths, containers/pots, lawns and
flower-beds?
Vaseline, ant can't cross it..........
You must be joking. Are Les &/or Claire supposed to smear all their
paths, containers/pots, lawns and flower-beds with vaseline?
Besides, vaseline is only expensive lubricating grease, so if you must
have a slippery garden, why not just use axle grease at a tenth of the
price?
