I saw a LOT of it. As a kid, I'd see mobs of hippies holding signs when these
guys got off planes "Baby Killers." The soldiers were treated like shit. When
I said a parade, I was comparing it to D-Day. When soldiers were respected and
honored. When we knew what we were fighting for.
I'm truly not trying to instigate anything, just sharing my experience. I know
NY is a far cry from Milwaukee and as such, cannot tangibly be compared.

I didnt see any of it, and I went to school with vets. How much of this did you
actually see in NY?
I dont know anybody in Milwaukee got a parade when they came home. the kid across
the street is coming home in a few days and I will sure welcome her back home with
relief, but Bay View is having no parade. Ingrid

I agree with everything you said, but indeed the returning soldiers were spat
on, and protested against, called baby killers and a whole barrage of horrible
things on TOP of their PTSD.
