Just intended as a taster to go with Xmas dinner. If you hear a heavenly
choir, accompanied by celestial trumpets on XD then you wiill know I have
succeeded.

Time past, as they say in Jersey, people dug their potatoes in new potato
season, put some into a tin box, sealed it well and buried it in a couple of
feet of soil. At Christmas time, they dug it up and had a 'feed' of new
potatoes. I've never tried it myself but it could be interesting!
