I seem to have developed an allergy to my mixture of hybrid blackberries
which seems to be an over-reaction to the inevitable scratches from the
thorns - basically intense itching from picking the berries and swelling
from pruning the things.

Dobies are advertising a thornless tayberry - 'Buckingham' - and I'm
wondering whetehr to give that a go - has anyone any experience of it?
Is it as vigorous as the normal? Does it crop as heavily?
