Starts out really soft, but it picks up polution from the air. Have
you checked the pH on any rain water lately. It may be different in
your area, but I suspect polution is pretty bad most large cities
anyway. I can't say how much acid is in the rain here, because I
don't have a kit that checks that much acid. The last time I tried
to do a pH test on runoff water the color went off the scale on the
acid end big time.
