Many thanks to all for the responses....
Still not quite sure if it's Oregano or Marjoram.
However we did a smell test with the dried
Marjoram and dried Oregano from the
kitchen cabinet. It just reinforced why I want to
grow my own herbs!!! However there was a
little resemblance to the Oregano...

Also thanks to Mark - Pots, a great idea we
had not considered. Surprising really as you can see .....
