QUERCUS RUBRA QUERCIA BOREALIS ROSSA

Quercus borealis, or maybe Q. borealis maximus Common name: red oak

Quercus rubra syn. Quercus borealis (or vice versa - RHS has the
one, Mitchell the other.[1]). It could be that the last three words are
an Italian vernacular name, equivalent to Northern Red Oak (Northern as
compared to Q. coccinea, Q. palustris, Q. velutina).

[1] I've skimmed a few records in IPNI, and Q. rubra L. is the older
name, but the IPNI records don't make it clear that Q. rubra and Q.
borealis refer to the same entity.
