One of the funniest real-life religious events of recent times was when the
Southern Baptists of Alabama accidentally released a memo of their "census"
of "the saved" in Alabama. Coincidentally, it exactly matched the attendance
figures for that denomination's churches. Needless to say, there were quite
a few ****ed off Methodists, Presbyterians, and other Protestants, never
mind the Catholics, who, if you turn on a radio anywhere in the deep South,
