Only two? Good lord! Two cobs of corn are just an appetizer, a
warmer-upper, before more serious ingestion of the stuff starts.

Well they weren't the only things on the plate, there was the pile of runner
beans (Polestar, Painted Lady and Desiree) and the Dauphinoise potatoes
(Romano) besides the chicken schnitzels. :-)

To offer such dishes, when there's fresh corn-on-the-cob at hand,
is indicative of depraved tastes.
