Thanks for the help I know just where to put everything now. I don't
have a greenhouse (yet) but I have the perfect corner in the front living
room. Just have to find a place for that pesky chair no one seems to like
to sit in.

I've got some good orchid mix left from when I re-potted a few things so
everything should work out great.

dryish cool winter, so they don't have to stay with the vandas all year.
Add
some epiphytic gesneriads from Nematanthus, Codonanthes and Aeschanthus,
some tillandsias esp Spanish Moss, other bromeliads and you begin to make

habitable jungle insead of a sterile greenhouse. I like to add in the
crotons, Streletzias, a few bananas, spathiphyllums, anthuriums, exotic
philodendron, etc. Where you are, that should be fairly easy. Work the
whole
thing together as an artwork. Epis will fit in nicely in hanging baskets.
Some are more upright while others are sprawling or pendant. Place them
appropriately. If you treat them the same as their neighboring orchids,
then
pot them in a very light mix. Mine do well in a paph mix without any soil.
