Now if you want to know almost exactly what it is, you can do it with salt
and a salt tester kit. See www.click2roark.com for the salinity calculator.

Simply put, weigh some fish safe salt, in your case I'd use 1 lb. Test your
water before salt addition, with salt tester, and again 24 hours later. Put
figures into Roark's calculator (subtracting if there was a showing of salt
in the first test from the second test) and it will tell you how many
gallons you have. Far more accurate than the LXWXDX7.48 = gallons.
