As a rough calculation my 3 silver birch trees produce about 1
billion
seeds a year

I want to have some silver birch at the end of my garden (two or three would
be lovely) but it'd be awful if I began to feel about them in the same way
that I view those b***** ash saplings that are springing up everywhere!
