I have some friends on their way down from DC (who also happen to be
relatives of another SAS employee and I want them to have the best
driving experience possible, given the fact that they should be
hitting I40 at 5:00...

I haven't take 1 South in years. How would that be at rush hour? I'm
thinking 1 South to 540. Seems like it was getting awfully
strip-mally last time I was out there.

The possibility I'm leaning toward most is 85 to the Durham Freeway.
Any thoughts on that one? Is the 147 South exit well-marked?

Is there a better way that I've completely overlooked??
