So your using the regular old tomatoe fertilizer spikes for lillies?
How have they like it so far?

My lilies have been blooming great guns since I got the pH down to their
liking. Also got a couple of blooms off the slow to bloom white Tropical
night bloomer.

I think I should give up on night bloomers. The first I ever had several
years ago, opened at dust and stayed open till noon. It was Sir Galahad.
Neither this Trudy Slocum or the Red Flare are like that, they seem to be
midnight to 6am-ers. My lilypond area is pitch black by midnight and I
rarely get up at 6am if I can help it.... and surely not to go run out to
check on the lilies... since there is no over looking window, though I'd
like one. ~ jan
