Well, where do you live? That has a lot to do with the situation. What
kind of grass are you trying to seed? That's a big factor, also.

I mean, are your trying to seed bermuda? or a cool season grass like
fescue or bluegrass? Tell us more, please.

incidentally, the soil appears to be clay like but also slightly sandy.
i live in the isle of man in the uk if this helps too. reasonably wet
climate with warm summers and cold winters.
