Default [IBC] Juniperus Procumbens "nana" -- Newbie question.

"Scalf, Thad" wrote:

In looking through nursery stock this weekend, just trying to get a feel for what I trees I would enjoy, I started looking at Nana's. I know that they are very good for bonsai, especially for Semi-Cascades and cascades, which I enjoy. I was just wondering if now would be a good time to buy and style, or if I should just exercise my non-existent patience and wait until spring. BTW I live in USDA Zone 6b ( Nashville, TN).

Thanks,
Thad Scalf -- USDA Zone 6b

Thad:
I'd look for sales right now, but hold off on any major work until the spring. You should be able to get some pretty good deals on junipers later in the fall as Home Depot, Lowe's etc. divest themselves of their inventory.
