Hello,

We are the Bird Adoption and Placement Center out of Sacramento,
California area.

We find birds with broken wings, massive hemotamos (sometimes for
weeks), missing legs, no feathers, viciously frightened and paranoid
and countless other abuses and examples of neglect. . . all the while
their owners or breeders talk as if it's perfectly normal.

Our birds are difficult to adopt and consequently we have many that
are in permanent sanctuary.

We are a very special rescue project for exotic birds, in a part of
the country where irresponsible breeding and callous resale to
uninformed new owners is an epidemic.
