I knew I'd get at least one anti-pesticide fanatic :-).

I am about killing a few thousand insects - there's no shortage.


The problem is the same. The more pesticide that's used, the more resistant the
insects become. That is the main reason for the development of IPM. The
commonly used pesticides lose their efficacy after a while. They're running out
of pesticides that are toxic enough to kill bugs, but not people.
