I sure as hck don;t have a clue but around this part of the country,
if you had a koi that size, it would serve you best to hire Wells
Fargo or a Brinks truck to transport it, and have the Terminator
guard it in your pond! I swear at the prices they are asking, they
have to be made of solid gold or platinum.


The value of a koi depends a lot on it heritage... and then on it's
colours and paterning. Assumeing it is not a cross breed, with unsure
provenance and poor colouring figure about $50 retail, with unsure
provinance and good colouring anywhere between $50 and $250. If it is
perfect (show quality) you could get into $750 range ... The really
high priced koi have pedegrees not unlike dogs and if you can't show
provinance even a perfect fish wont fetch the real money.

(Wow ... we're talking pet fish and $750 is NOT real money ... are we
nuts?)

Since you are selling to someone who has to sell them on assume
something substantially less that the retail...

going to depend on your area, the fishes age and the season as well.
