environment is not suitable to growing bonsai.

Artificial lighting, if the spectrum is suitable and installation properly
done, can totally replace sunlight, and permanent humidity (steam) is heaven
for most tropicals. I guess some ficus would thrive in such a bathroom. I
don't know about red leaves/fruit, though.
