Water hyacinth is a tropical plant and you must wait until
there is no chance of frost. I have gotten around that
problem by throwing a piece of plastic over the plants if
there is a frost warning - you must remember to remove the
plastic during the daytime. This way I can put the plants
in as soon as they are available.
