It's a Nutrafin CO2 counter. Right now, the bubbles are flying out of the
thing... I might be making a small contribution to Global Warming, at this
rate...

They are large bubbles, and they are being produced at about 1 each 3-5
secs. It takes about 10-15 secs for them to travel through the counter and
out to the surface. I have about 3 bubbles in the counter at a time. I'm
about 2 weeks into the Fermentation process

And, unlike Bill Stock, I got directions with mine, but I was missing parts
in two boxes I got from the store. I had to return to the store 2 times
before getting a box with all the parts. Maybe Nutrafin should look into
Quality Control for their packaging.

Hmm,

That is interesting. If the bubbles to go to the top of the tank, then

they
are escaping the aquarium and not doing any good. Although a some

dissolved
Co2 may be escaping the bubble and going into the aquarium.

The way I have mine is simply from a two-liter bottle connected to a

little
rectangular container that is sunctioned to the side of my tank. The Co2
comes out of the air line into the rectangle container and stays in there
until it completely disolves in the water.

Not sure if you can post what kind of system you bought or other pertinint
information since I'm not too sure how the system is supposed to look.

I just recently bought a CO2 system (by fermentation), and the bubbles

are
moving throught the "counter": this plastic tray with edges along which

the
bubbles travel on their way to the surface.

I was just wondering what I should be seeing. The bubbles travel in the
counter, but go straight through to the top, and then the CO2 just

leaves
the tank. I thought the bubbles were supposed to be caught in the tray
apparatus and stay there, instead of escaping out to the surface.

Do I have it set up correctly?
