Sorry to "irritate" you Nic.
My email is "nothere" as in "not here". No
intent
to deceive but
having had my mailbox fill up with spam from
bots
who harvest
addresses off of USENET groups I won't post a
working email addy.
Well, I've often thought it odd that people who
want
to free
THEMSELVES of an annoyance therefore foist an
annoyance on
someone else.
With Mailwasher and my ISP's spam controls, I get
an
average of
THREE spam messages per day now. If your ISP
doesn't have
decent spam controls you should switch to one that
does. (And,
if Mailwasher isn't your cup of tea, there are
several other
just-as-free (or even freer -- I paid $20 for my
copy of
Mailwasher as a gesture of thanks) spam killers
that
work well,
too.)
And then, that also says something about USENET,
eh?
It is, I
think, a technology that has just about outlived
its
usefulness.
