I regulary spray my home for insects. I live in Long Island, New York. Last
week, I went down in the
basement. I was there 1 week before, and there was no sign of pests, so this
all happened in 2 weeks
time.

So in 2 weeks time, I saw tons of "spider like bugs". Great majority, were
dead. I sprayed the
basement wood ceiling maybe 6 weeks before. The bugs I am trying to identify
have many legs like
spiders and the largest size was maybe 1 inch to 1.5 inches (maybe).

Why I say, I am not sure they were spiders, was that, the legs looked almost
"hinged" in the sense,
that spiders I have seen in the past had "oval legs". These legs almost
looked, like they had
joints.

I sprayed again, and did not see any more since I sprayed. I would have
thought I would have seen
many more dead ones. There were no spider webs. When I first seen them, I
vacumed all of them up and
sprayed. However, I have only seen 2 new dead ones, since spraying. In
addition, I did not see, any
penetrate the 1st floor.

In the summer, I had a termite inspection, and I had none.

That's not much of a description to go on, but I wonder if you've been
invaded by box elder bugs
