hello,
zone 5
Azalea housePlants...
1. 1 had had (and is getting again) some sort of deficiency (white /
lime green tiny leaves) which i had been giving mirAcid to than 1 time
per week (it was deficient for 1 year)
how long does one *treat* them if they were deficient for that long a
time
(and possibly the others since they are only in 2/3 peat 1/3
perlite/sand)
2. the "spent" flowers -- how and where to cut the bases off?
3. do they require any other food aside from 30-10-10?
thank you!

There's many factors in determining a plant's recovery. Plants heal
much more slowly than animals. Sometimes it will be a full season to
see changes. Azaleas should be fed after bloom during the growing
season,

they are doing both: growing and flowering... and i should feed them ONLY
mirAcid? or a 20-20-20?
what about epsom salts?

then left dormant (unfertilized) other times.

they are doing their own thing... when i got them they were flowerLess and
currently they are flowering... more buds too...

You can cut off
the dead flowers as soon as they get that way. Be careful and go easy
with the 30-10-10, that's strong for an indoor potted plant.

i'm using the housePlant dose (not the outDoor strength)

Nothing
is better than some fresh soil for trace nutrients.

the ground's frozen cannot get soil just ice but i have an organic mix with
peat, verm., perlite, composted bark and humus (turkey manure) would that be
an idea?
Thanks very much again!
sincerely
