Thank you Emrys- I went to the mentioned sites, but before I had decided
what to do I had some spam from one "Christine", I think the name was or
the
like;-( with some offer.

did you give them your email address? Did you tick the relevant boxes
(if there) saying to send or not offers etc.?

Today I got this message from "Internet Provider Abuse": "I noticed that
you have visited illegal websites. See the name on the list "(file
attached)(abuse.gov.US) Didn´t dare try though ;-

This sounds like a virus email - it's come from someones infected
computer who happens to have your address. Bin it and ignore it, or
virus scan your incoming mails if it bothers you.

Once again - thanks. Didn´t I feel in my bones that it was something like
that! I have read about but never had any virus in my Apple-computer. But
then I am very careful with whom I am chatting ;-)I am now about to get
installed a spaming-scanning-facilities. Death to the tyrant!!!

I notice you seem to have a valid email address in the header to your
message here on URG. I would suggest munging that (turning into
for example), or getting a disposable address from
spamcom.net, like I do. Usenet is a bugger for getting email addresses
harvested.
