Default [IBC] African Baobab - Adansonia digitata

Hi Mark

I have successfully germinated baobab seeds with the following method.

Make sure the seeds are scarified. The ones i received where done already,
but
if you are going to do it yourself make sure that you do it along the whole
side of the
seed. Then soak them overnight is HOT water, the ones that have swollen by
the next day
are viable seeds and should germinate within 2-3 weeks. The seedlings grow
very fast but
remember that this tree is a SLOW grower and will definitely be a test of
your patience.
They need very little water and during the winter season NO water at all,
they are also
very sensitive to frost.

Hope this helps
