I think this might be what I had at the house I used to rent (been trying to
identify it for a while!) Is this the one which develops nice big fat pods
full of peas after flowering?

If so, then I can tell you that it won't cling to walls, but will twine
around trellis etc. but doesn't seem to go woody, so it's not as sturdy as
many climbers.
