It's a bushfood tree from Qld rainforests.

Thanks for those of you that made suggestions. The correct suggestion
came by email. The plant is Polyscias sambucifolia (Elderberry Panax).
It is widespread occurring in forests and sheltered gullies down the
east coast and round into Victoria.
