I live in the Houston, TX area USDA zone 8b with summer heat and humidity.
I am looking for some white eating grapes to grow on an arbor in my
backyard. I tried some grapes in the past without much luck, as grapes
generally do not grow well in my area. I have read a bit and not found
much as far as the best variety. I have found a few red grape varieties
for my area but for my purposes I need white grapes. My local nursery has
a lot of "white diamond" variety. I read that it is a grape for New York
area. I know that the nurseries will sell you anything that you will buy
so I thus far have not bought that one. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks.

Larry

Go to the Winery below which is located near you in Santa Fe Texas near
Dickinson, Texas. If you ask them, I think they can advise you of what
will grow in your area.
