Ben Oki had the best retort for this question.
When he answered that the tree he was working on was not for sale, the
persistent watcher asked: " But if it were for sale, what would it go for?"
Ben answered: " $1000."
The next question was: "Why so much?"
Ben's reply: " I put 100 hours of labor into this tree. Is my time worth
$10 an hour?" Then he answered parenthetically: "But it's not for sale."
