Hello Bonsai Friends:
I would like to offer this humble pome
as my entry in the IBC contest.
-- Gregor Mendel

They had a big bonsai parade,
(Mostly Sousa marches were played.)
The Ficus blew horns,
On drums were hawthorns -
For all, 'twas a wild escapade.

ay how sorry I am for mispelling
"pome" in my last message. My spelling checker
malfunkshuned and OKd "poem" (silly machine.)

No excuse. Your penalty, Tom, if you desire to enter our Pome
contest again, is to repeat (10 times quickly) after me:

A tutor who tooted a toot,
tried to tutor two tootlers to toot.
Said the two to the tutor, is it harder to toot,
or to tutor two tootlers to toot?

Once you have successfully accomplished this feat you will be re-
instituted and may enter our contest as often (or more) as you
wish.

Should you fail in that simple task, you then must accomplish
the following much more difficult task:

Repeat the following (5 times, quickly) --

Theopolis Thistle, the thrifty thistle sifter, sifted sixteen
thistles though the thick of his thumb.

Sincerely,

Peter Piper and Sally the Sea Shell Seller, co-chairs of the IBC
POME contest
