Its growing chives from seed for me - I've tried in lots of gardens
over the years, from Scotland down to south west France - still no
luck. I've read they like to germinate in warmth, then grow somewhere
cool, so I'm giving it one more try this year. Watch this space!!

I buy cheap pots of them in the supermarket - split them up and plant the bits
in big pots........works a treat :~)
