We had 2.6 inches of rain in 4 hours this morning. When I could
get outside I found that my American wisteria (W. frutescens),
which had been JUST about to bloom(for the first time!), had
lost ALL of its buds to wind, rain, or a fallen branch.

That makes almost 8 inches of rain in the last 5 days! The
river's WELL over the road now.
