Default Children and Weedkiller/Lawnfeeder

Hi all,

My pristine, new lawn became overgrown with weeds, owing to the wife and
i being kept busy over the last few of years with children.

Now that they're slightly older i am able to turn some attention to it
again, and in my "wisdom" decided to try a Tesco lawn "feed and de-weed"
all in one effort.

It said that after spreading (i did it by hand) that the lawn should be
safe for children after it's had a good rain or watering. Well, it had
at least three days of decent rain (i did it on Weds) and i watered it
too for good measure.

However in spite of this, the lawn still seems to have a worrying
smattering of the grains, or grain-stains (esp. where there wasn't much
grass). Should i tread them in? Or are they indeed safe? Or have i
put too much down?

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Chris.
