Thanks Chookie, but I did say Cyathea not Dicksonia which is the 'pineapple'
you stated. Cyatheas need a root ball!
Not too many native gardeners out there eh?

Depends on species -- there is one type where you can just chop the crown

off
and plant that, like a pineapple. I'd ring the local Australian Plants
Society group or a local specialist native or fern nursery for advice.
