Default [IBC] Cork Bark Elm

In a message dated 4/20/05 12:03:46 AM, writes:
A search on the internet brought up Ulmus parviflora "Cortcosa" and Ulmus
neri.* The latter, I suspect, might not be a correct name as it seems to be
sold by on-line malsai with no other info.

The correct name for your tree is Ulmus parvifolia (sic) 'Corticosa.'
Cultivar names take single quotes only. Treat it essentially like a typical Chinese
elm cultivar. Nire (sic) is simply the Japanese word for elm. It isn't wrong
(if it's spelled right), but it doesn't tell you anything.
