Does that include lilly beetles, slugs, snails, caterpillars etc,
or
is it just furry creatures?

Shouldn't be a problem overall: if her horticulture is intelligently
balanced and she takes a few preventive measures, the pests probably
won't be a total ******* on every plant every year.
