Default [IBC] cold front

Please forgive me for this inane question, but I would feel better if my
plan is confirmed to be a good one!

A cold front is supposed to be coming through my area tonight, bringing
snow with it, after two weeks of 70 degree (F) weather. The news is
saying that the temp won't come back above freezing until tuesday!

I'm planning to bring my bonsai (a couple hornbeams, crabapples, and
assorted pines) inside, putting them in my basement with a few grow
lights until the temp improves. Although this is the fourth year I've
been doing bonsai, this is the first time I've found myself in this
position. Am I doing the right thing? Are there other things I can do?
(I don't have a greenhouse; I mulch my trees during winter). If the
cold weather was for only one night I wouldn't be so concerned, but the
forecast says it will be several days. Is there anything special I need
to look out for until I can take my trees back outside?

Thanks in advance,

Brian
